May 26th (wow - that seems a long time ago) was St. Philip Neri's feast day, and we went over to his church, Chiesa Nuova, to celebrate it properly. On the feast day, they hang out these beautiful tapestry banners, open up the front of his tomb so you can actually touch it, and open his old rooms for public viewing. Definitely something to do if you find yourself in Rome on May 26th some year.
