Here we are at last, in the circular dungeon that Peter and Paul prayed in while being held captive.The well on the bottom has a legend attached to it that it was water from that well that the guards of Peter (or Paul?) were baptized with after they converted. Pilgrims still dip their fingers in to bless themselves with the water as a rememberance of their own baptism.
