After the recessional we all just flooded into the area beneath the opening and had a blast gathering petals and flinging them up and at each other, joined by hundreds of other laughing, happy, joyful young people (for some reason, almost everyone we saw at this Mass were Americans). We got a few looks from people - but seriously, what do you expect when you dump millions of rose petals on people's heads? In the *Pantheon*? That they are NOT going to play like little children of God?
