The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Sunday, June 4

After the recessional we all just flooded into the area beneath the opening and had a blast gathering petals and flinging them up and at each other, joined by hundreds of other laughing, happy, joyful young people (for some reason, almost everyone we saw at this Mass were Americans). We got a few looks from people - but seriously, what do you expect when you dump millions of rose petals on people's heads? In the *Pantheon*? That they are NOT going to play like little children of God?

Congratulations for your blog; it is a pity that you are leaving Rome soon.
I have 'borrowed' two photos of the Pantheon for my blog.
