It was also Deacon Barno's last day with us, so we had to get something special for him too... He always said he wanted a pair of distinguished-looking glasses. I'm sure these fit the bill. :)

Deacon Barno, as a matter of fact, left Rome today to return to his home diocese of Newark, NJ. He is to be ordained to the holy priesthood next Saturday, May 27 - please say a prayer for him as he begins his priestly ministry would you?
