The weekly "spot-the-pope" gathering in St. Peter's Square at noon on Sundays - the Holy Father spoke extensively about the Divine Mercy devotion (it was Divine Mercy Sunday) and about his "beloved predecessor John Paul II"... it was beautiful, there were zillions of people there (the official people say there were 60,000 I guess) tightly packed in the hot sun... whew. I left early, after the Regina Caeli prayer and blessing....
