The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Thursday of the 4th Week of Lent - Station Church - San Martino e Silvestro ai Monti. This church is so old it was "restored" in the 6th century!! Another cool tidbit - this was the church in which the Nicene Creed was first recited in the Western Church after the Council itself, in the year 325 AD - this would be the same Creed that every Catholic still recites as the foundation of our faith every single Sunday at Mass. Cool, huh?
