A closer view of the altar area - above the tabernacle on the ridge there is the Latin phrase, taken from the traditional wording of the Angelus prayer. But inside this chapel, there's something different about it - it says "HIC Verbum caro factum est"; HERE the Word became flesh! We came here during the Easter season, and so they sang the Regina Caeli at noon instead of the Angelus - but if you come here when they sing the Angelus, they will sing it with that unique phrase, HERE the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us!
