The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Monday, April 3

Being that it was Station Church day - THIS is the day that you really want to go to the weekly Sunday Vespers service at St. Peter's. Why? Because it's the day that two of the most precious relics the Church has in its keeping are brought out for the veneration of the faithful - the Veil of Veronica, and a fragment of the True Cross. We went as a group to the prayer service, and I happened to find myself in pretty much The Prime Spot for taking photos... here's the entrance procession.
