The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Monday, April 3

And finally, the damned and the demons fall away before the Holy Name of Christ.

Yes, folks, this was and is the mission of the Society of Jesus, as envisioned by St. Ignatius of Loyola - to bring knowledge of the Holy Name of Christ to all the world, so that all who believe might convert to the Gospel of Christ and be saved. (A bit stronger than what you might see on the average Jesuit college promotional flyer these days, eh?)

Just Beautiful! How is it that you were able to take all these photos? When on went on pilgrimage to Italy recently there were very few churches where we were permitted to take photos indoors. These are amazing!
