The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Sunday, March 5

#5 Station Church - Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano (St. John Lateran). We went this morning to the Sunday church - the PNAC guys don't "do" Sundays, since the churches will have their regular Sunday schedules. We ended up going to the regular 10am Mass there, which turned out to be a sung (beautifully sung!) Latin High Mass. I hadn't been down to St. John's before for this Sunday Mass, so I don't know if that's a regular thing or if they did a special liturgy since it was the Station Church for the day (?). It was great though!
