The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

#1 Station Church - Santa Sabina. Ash Wednesday - after getting up at 5:15am, we walked down to the Aventine hill and up to the church of Santa Sabina, the first of the Lenten station churches, for 6:45am Mass... The Pontifical North American College seminarians and the American priests living in Rome put together this annual Lenten pilgrimage for the English-speaking community in Rome - we can't thank them enough for it!
