The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Ok - so this morning. We get into line at 7:30 or so in the morning, knowing we're likely going to be standing out here for up to 2 hours... and then it starts to rain. And then it starts to really rain. Joy! But then, as the rain started to dwindle, as poetic as anything I've seen, we spotted a rainbow suddenly arching perfectly over the Vatican! From our spot in line, outside of the columnade, we didn't have a very good view unfortunately - but it was still way cool!
