The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Before I get to the photos from today - back up a bit to Saturday... A few of us went to midday Mass at Saint Anastasia's church down by the Circus Maximus, with the Little Sisters of the Lamb (yeah, the ones that we were with today at the General Audience!) - you can see them in the blue veils in the front row. They are beautiful singers, and provide the music for the midday Mass there on Saturdays. Fr. Carola likes to go down there to (con)celebrate the Mass for them, which is how we found out about these Saturday Masses. Bonus - at the ambo (pulpit) is none other than one of our Bernardi deacons, Jeremy! He also assisted at our house Mass tonight (with a very fine homily I must add!)
