In the early afternoon the bus dropped us back off in Salzburg, and we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring before catching our train back to Vienna. Beautiful city - and the birthplace of Mozart as you might know! His "birthday" is this Saturday, so all of Austria is busily organizing concerts in his honor - but particularly in Salzburg and in Vienna, the two cities where he lived most of his life.
