The semester really hasn't started yet (Ang semester begins early next week) but we already have a couple of classes. One is intensive Italian (4 hours a day for two weeks! Yikes!) and the other is this class - "Church and Culture in Italy" with the Rossi sisters (literally sisters, not religious sisters!), which looks to be a lot of fun. The class is spent mostly out in Rome itself, studying the buildings, people, and art. On our first class our task was to walk to various types of places in Rome and to observe the "Roman life". The picture shows Dr. Teodora Rossi talking with us in a villa (now a park) overlooking a busy intersection of Rome - great spot to "watch" life!
