The Roamin' Roman

Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

One of the churches in the St. Stefan complex - historically one of the oldest areas of worship in Bologna. It used to have 7 churches (!) all closely connected, now there are "only" 4 left. It is very amazing to visit. This photo shows one of the old baptisteries, which a few centuries ago was converted to show a replica of the tomb of Christ from Jerusalem.
