Benvenuto! You have happened upon the blog of a wandering Catholic American college student studying for a year in Rome, the Eternal City. You will find here my pontifications, ruminations, reflections, images, and ponderings on my life in Rome. Ciao!

Your photography is so good it's almost as nice as being there!
Were you able to get in touch with the Lourdes nuns?

Hi Mary!
As I sit here at work in Minneapolis and look at your pictures of Europe, a deep yearning to return is creeping upon me. Man, you got to see a lot of Paris! And it's been a looong time since I've been to Italy, so reading about your adventures makes me want to bust out of here and live the life of a gypsy in Europe!
If you get the chance, take a trip to good ole' Deutschland for me! It was a year ago yesterday that I flew out to settle into my life as a Fulbrighter there, and I really miss it.
Enjoy everything while you're there, and keep up with the great pictures!
