I think this is from the church of St. Genevive (or St. Germain?)... it was not a very appealing church, very dark and faded. The only reason I explored it was because the philsopher Rene Descartes ("cogito ergo sum", "I think, therefore I am") is buried here (hmmm... maybe that explains the depressingly dark atmosphere?)
