I never miss your postings. What an eye you have and the comments really put things into context.

When you are done in Rome you really should put your photos and commentary into book form. Maybe an on-line book/website with additional comentary so you can show the maximum amount of photos.

Thank you for sharing all of this with the public at large and not just with family and friends. It has been a real education.

    What great photos!

The rich green grass in this one reminds me of the first time I was at Assisi. It was during the month of April some years ago and I was amazed at how green and rich the plains were. We got off the train and walked up to the village, walking and running through the high blades. Then when we got up to Assisi and looked back upon the quasi-valley, quasi-plains there below the town of St. Francis, I was amazed. Had not seen many places like that. Funny you said "Ireland." The other places I remember being so rich and green were in Ireland and also in Scotland (esp. Edinburgh area).

Well, enjoy your time out there. It goes by fast. Mine did and so I made plans to spend another year out in Europe during my undergrad studies. Tempus fugit.

    In the Risen Lord,
